This is the second time the game has frozen for me on Wii. The first time all I remember is that I was about to play Something, now this time when trying to exit an online game. grrr
At the title screen enter the following colour code:
Xbox/PS3:blue, yellow, orange, orange, orange, blue, blue, blue, yellow, orange.
Wii: put in red instead of orange.
This unlocks some photos to be viewed in Story Mode.
Also check out their reviews of individual albums. Average score is probably 9.9, which is unheard of for Pitchfork.
I noticed two flaws while examining all of my remastered stereo discs finally:
One I had read elsewhere — the Magical Mystery Tour disc lists “Let It Be minidocumenary” as the last track. EMI - do you need a good editor? Cuz I’d be willing to come work in London for boarding.
The second, and this one really pisses me off, the Revolver booklet’s cover was bent when I opened the case. It’s totally creased. There’s a dent on the inner fold too. Stupid manufacturer!
Still…does that mean every song from Rubber Soul gets played at Shea?
The 1987 CDs of the first four albums were released in mono, so hearing stereo versions for the first time has been strange for me — especially the first two. I vocals are mixed more to the middle on AHDN and BFS, but the first two are vocals one side, instrument the other.
What I love about the stereos so far is hearing individual instruments. Hearing solos better than before. Yes, I know the vocals are built up as well, but the instruments are what fascinate me the most. People have been saying “it sounds like John is right here singing for me”. I think it sounds like George is right here playing for me on Honey Don’t. The tympani (always a fave) is louder but not overruling.
So much…
You have to leave the credits on (like 10 minutes, or so it felt) to get the Encore chapter, which is solely The End.
But I didn’t get to play it. I played the whole story mode but The End is not in Story mode. It does make an abbreviated appearance in a new animation after you finish the last song on the last chapter (Get Back). Made my eyes well up.
Now I’m listening to chatter over the credits. Are there any easter eggs?
I noticed that the key or whatever changes sometimes for upcoming words, I’m guessing based on your last note. Is this normally how Rock Band works? I like it.
Does anyone know if the music that plays over reward screens is Bealte music? It sort of sounds like an outtake from Flying, but probably not. It’s really eerie sounding - I love it.
